AUPET and the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency has signed a memorandum of understanding

Today, on October 27, 2021 in Nur-Sultan, a meeting of the Director of the International Cooperation Department of AUPET M.B. Aliyarova with the delegation of the Republic of Poland has been held.

The meeting was attended by: First Deputy Mayor of Wroclaw, responsible for the strategy and development of the city, Mr. Jakub Mazur, Head of the Board of JSC "Development Agency of the Wroclaw Agglomeration" Ms. Magdalena Okulovska, Managing Director of the Agency Mr. Dariusz Ostrovsky, International Consultant Director for the development of the Central Asian market and Adviser to the President of Creative Valley Ms. Malgorzata Tuard, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Management of the Wroclaw Polytechnic Dr. Mariusz Mazurkiewicz, Head of the Investment Support Group of the Agglomeration Agency Ms. Aleksandra Klonowska-Drozd, Director of the Promotion and Services Center of the Development Agency of the Wroclaw Agglomeration Mr. Tomasz Spevak and the head of the projects “Study in Wroclaw” and “reStart” of the agglomeration agency, Mr. Miroslav Lebed.

Mr. Mazur shared plans for the international development of academic cooperation, presented the universities of the city of Wroclaw and the activities of the Development Agency of the Wroclaw Agglomeration in Central Asia.

The meeting participants discussed issues of future academic cooperation, outlined the first steps to establish a strong partnership in the framework of academic exchanges of students and teaching staff of universities and mutual participation in scientific research of scientists from AUPET and Polish universities.

In conclusion, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the "Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev" and the Development Agency of the Wroclaw Agglomeration.
