Freshman Turnabout was held at AUPET

At the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev, the long-awaited event was held - Freshman Turnabout. This is an annual traditional event that marks the beginning of the brightest and most unforgettable period in the life of every student. Every freshman every year waits for him with bated breath.

Throughout September and October, freshmen got used to the peculiarities of student life, and also passed their first midterm control.

After all, initiation into students is an important and exciting moment in the life of a freshman, full of vivid emotions and unforgettable impressions. This is one of the brightest traditions in educational institutions.

On November 19, 2021, freshmen became full members of a large and friendly family, a part of a single whole - they became AUPET students. Now they have a difficult path ahead of them. And the complexity of this path lies in the ability to harmoniously integrate into the team, find friends, and take your studies seriously and responsibly. Freshman Turnabout is the first step towards uniting students. On this holiday, students have time not only to get to know each other, but also to show their talents.

On this day, students, teachers and guests gathered in the assembly hall to take part in the festive Freshman Turnabout concert.

At the first stage of the event, which took place from 2 to 5 November 2021, sports games in volleyball, football, basketball and tennis were held. As a result of these games at the cultural part of the dedication, the winners were awarded and encouraged with prizes from sponsors.

The best dances of the studio “ADC” were performed on stage. All numbers of the concert were performed in a single musical theme, beautifully, emotionally and in a good mood.

The program of the event was continued with a scene based on the history of the university in the theme of a parallel universe.

The audience is supportive of the speakers. created a kind atmosphere.

But the most interesting thing in the official part is the “Freshman Turnabout” rite itself.

The student body managed to make the ritual special and memorable. They are sure that this is one of the most significant events in student life, and it should be properly celebrated! Freshmen, holders of the sign "Altyn belgi" took an oath of successful studies.

The concert, which was organized for "Freshman Turnabout" .2021 ended with a bard song. She delighted the audience and the administration of the university. The authors of the words were sophomore Arsen, Diyar and Rasul.

All students and teachers approached the organization of the event responsibly. They were able to prepare with high quality, conducting numerous rehearsals, which is why it was held on "URA".

Thanks to the efforts of all the participants, the concert went very well. The impressions of the students, teachers and guests from the event were the warmest and most joyful. We can say that this is a good start for a new student life.
