International Forum \"Safe Environment\" on the prevention of destructive behavior of students and the role of the psychological service of the university

On December 7, 2021, on the basis of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev, the international forum "Safe Environment" on the prevention of destructive behavior of students and the role of the psychological service of the university will be held.

Goals and objectives of the forum:

- studying the issues of ensuring the external safety of students and university staff in the framework of the prevention of destructive actions;

- the formation of practical skills in providing psychological support and support to student youth;

- identification of the algorithm for the work of various services and departments of the university for the prevention of destructive behavior;

- mastering the tools of psychological support and relieving psychological stress in a destructive situation;

- development of practical recommendations to various departments of universities and psychological services for the prevention of destructive behavior of student youth.

The event provides for the participation of state and local executive specialized bodies, a meeting of heads and employees of universities and colleges responsible for working with youth, workers of psychological services, social educators, advisers of academic groups.

Rules of the Forum:

10.00–13.00	plenary session
13.00–14.00	lunch
14.00 - 17.00	modular sessions, master classes

The following themes will be addressed at the Forum:

- Modern approaches to the problem of destructive behavior in the student environment;

- The role of social risks and stressful situations of youth;

- Prevention of destructive communication of young people in the Internet environment.

Format: combined (offline / online through the ZOOM platform). An invitation to the Forum and master classes will be sent to the e-mail specified in the application for participation.

Working languages ​​of the conference: Kazakh, Russian.

Methods / Basic forms of work: Lectures (presentations), group discussions, information, training exercises, video / audio analysis.

Duration: December 07, 2021, from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Application deadline: December 4, 2021 inclusive.
