Forum \"Space Integration\" with the participation of representatives of \"AUPET\" has been held in Moscow

On December 3, 2021, the Rector of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after G. Daukeyev Sagintaeva Saule Savetovna, together with her colleagues, took part in the EAEU Business Forum "Space Integration" in Moscow. The meeting was held thanks to the invitation of a member of the Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Glazyev.

At the forum, a wide range of issues on scientific, technical and industrial cooperation between the EAEU countries was presented. The most interesting and relevant for the AUPET representatives were the speeches of the speakers at the round tables "Using the results of space activities in the interests of the socio-economic development of the EAEU countries" and "EAEU: prospects for cooperation in the field of fundamental and applied space sciences".

Within the framework of the forum, the signing of Memorandums of Cooperation between the National Center for Space Research and Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the "AGAT" Organization took place. This creates additional opportunities for strengthening the scientific and innovative potential of AUPET and gives impetus to the development of joint research projects, since the National Center for Space Research and Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a strategic partner for the university. The branch of the Department “Space Engineering” of AUPET operates on the basis of the center.

In addition, several important business meetings were held at the forum, including with representatives of Moscow State Technical University named after N.E.Bauman. The parties confirmed further cooperation in the field of personnel training and joint scientific research.
