AUPET students has taken part in the quarterfinal round of the World Championship in Programming ACM ICPC 2021

On Saturday, December 11, the quarter final round of the ACM ICPC World Student Programming Team Championship was held in an "online" format. More than 60 teams representing the interests of 9 top universities in Kazakhstan took part in the event.

ACM ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) is the most prestigious international student programming Olympiad. This competition was part of the international semi-final of the North Eurasia (CIS) region, which was also simultaneously held at the universities of St. Petersburg, Barnaul and Tbilisi.

The participants of the championship had to solve 14 complex algorithmic problems in 5 hours.

3 teams from Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after G. Daukeyev took part:

- KEKteam (Telbaeyva, Daniar);

- AUPET_1 (Bakdaulet, Temirlan, Myassyugin);

- AUPET_2 (Aibek, Aldazhar, Abylai).

The presented students took part in this competition for the first time and proved themselves worthy. They are aimed at further training in solving the Olympiad problems and competing with rivals next year.
