Solemn meeting of the AUPET team dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence

On December 15, 2021, a solemn meeting of the staff of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. In her speech, the Rector of AUPET Saule Sagintayeva emphasized the following: “The scientific and pedagogical traditions rooted with independence are important for our future. Today, great faculty, keeping up with modern realities, continue the legacy of the older generation. They do not allow the flame of knowledge to be extinguished, and today's youth strengthen these principles in their hearts, taking worthy places in the higher education system, raising the high authority of AUPET. I congratulate the dear colleagues of our university on the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan! "

Talented students presented Kazakh folk songs to the public and recited poems of Kazakh poets. After the rewarding of faculty with diplomas, letters of thanks, badges and medals from ministries and partners began. Thus, the rector of AUPET was awarded, together with Associate Professor and Head of the Department “Automation and Control” I. Fedorenko, a letter of thanks from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Vice-rector for social and educational work S. Makhmutov was awarded the jubilee medal "Kazakhstan Tauelsizdigine 30 years". Director of the Institute of Telecommunications and Space Engineering K. Alipbaev was awarded the medal “Garysh salasyn damytuga koskan alesi ushin” from the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Professor of the Department of Automation and Control A. Kopesbaeva was awarded the badge “Energy of unemdeu salasyna koskan үlesi shin” from the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Director of the Institute of Electric Power and Electrical Engineering Zh. Abdimuratov was awarded the “Enbek sinirgen energetic” badge from the Ministry of Energy. Vice-rector for scientific and innovation activities A. Saukhimov was awarded by the Kazakhstan Electric Power Association with the honorary title “Enbegi sinirgen energizi”. Many faculty have also been awarded.

The students were not left without awards either. Dinmukhamet Autalipov entered the top ten winners of the WorldSkills-2021 international competition. Other AUPET students were awarded with awards from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for participation in the republican Olympiads in technical specialties. At the end of the event, the anthem of AUPET was sung.

The event was held in compliance with all sanitary and hygienic standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
