A student concert on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been held at AUPET

On December 14, 2021, a student concert on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev. Talented students from the amateur art club “Ulagat” performed on stage playing folk musical instruments, and also showed Kazakh folk dances. They read poems of the classics of Kazakh poetry and showed a small performance about the last months before the birth of Independence.

The distinguished guests of the student concert were the chairman of the organization “Az Zheltoksan”, Erbol Abdreshov, and the members of Zheltoksan, Orazymbet Sabankulov and Erenbay Imankulov. They conveyed a letter of gratitude to the Rector of AUPET Saule Sagintayeva and the staff of the university.

At the end of the concert the students of the club “Ulagat” together with the audience honored the heroes of Zheltoksan.

The event was held in compliance with all sanitary and hygienic standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
