Republican debate tournament \"Energo CUP V\" has been held in the framework of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence

The student debate club "Energo DC" held the republican debate tournament "Energo CUP V". It was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The debate movement is now becoming increasingly popular and widespread among the youth. The debate movement in our university has existed for about 20 years, the number of debaters is constantly growing. Every year the level of holding internal and external tournaments is increasing. One of the proofs of this is the annual increase in the number of participating factions. For example, this year 41 factions (as teams are called in the debate movement) have applied to participate in the tournament. Teams from universities of the Almaty region, the cities of Shymkent, Nursultan, Taraz were among them.
Unlike the previous ones, the current jubilee tournament was held in a somewhat unusual form, in 3 stages. “Energo CUP V” started with a friendly football tournament between factions. The tournament itself was held in APF and PDF formats. It ended with the intellectual game Debate show - a platform for the best speakers.
At the end of the tournament:
The first place was won by the faction of KazNMU named after S. D. Asfendiyarov "Kokzhal" - Sandybek Alibek and Berdykhan Mukasan.
The second place was taken by the "Papaoutai" faction - Tleubay Nurbolat (KBTU) and Amre Zhandos (UIB).
The third place belongs to the fraction of the Narxoz University "Dulatov" (TEO) - Alishbaev Mukhammedali and Abdukarimova Arailym.
The fourth place belongs to the faction of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University "Altyn Orda" (Altyn Sapa) - Iskindirova Kyrmyzy and Nurakhman Eliza.
Arailym, a student of Narxoz Abdukarimova University, and Yerkinbek Yerkanat, a student of UIB University, were rightfully awarded the title of the best speaker.
