January 10, 2022 was declared the Day of National Mourning for those killed at the hands of terrorists and bandits
All of us, citizens of Kazakhstan, understand that riots, pogroms and robberies, murders of law enforcement officials and civilians are the work of terrorists.
We have witnessed a large-scale attack by an international terrorist group on Kazakhstan.
Almaty took the brunt of the blow of the international terrorist group and survived a real war.
Well-armed groups of terrorists and bandits tried to seize and hold the akimat, airport, police stations and other strategic objects. But these attempts failed thanks to the heroic actions of the police, special services and the army.
I express my condolences to the families of the victims, to all relatives and friends.
The President of Kazakhstan K.-Zh.K Tokayev timely made the only right decisions for the country's protection from bandit formations that were important for the country and the preservation of its sovereignty:
- announcement of an anti-terrorist operation
- and the introduction of peacekeeping forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
And now Almaty is gradually returning to normal life. All strategic objects have been taken under control. The city streets are in order. Grocery stores started to work. Payment can be made by bank transfer.
But we must understand that all international terrorist organizations and syndicates are watching the situation in Kazakhstan, and especially in Almaty.
Therefore, I urge fellow citizens, colleagues and students, friends and all young people not to succumb to provocations, to check the information received, to trust only reliable and official sources.
Let's support our military and law enforcement agencies, without distracting them from the primary task of clearing the city of bandits and preventing the entry of militants, strictly observing the state of emergency and staying at home during curfews.
Our strength lies in the unity of the people and power!
Biz birgemiz!
