We invite you to participate in the international competition for start-ups in the field of energy “Start Up Energy Transition Award” (SET Award)

Hurry up to January 31, 2022 to apply for participation in the international competition for start-ups in the field of energy “Start Up Energy Transition Award” (SET Award).

The competition is held in the following categories:

Clean Energy Generation, Demand-side Innovation, Energy Distribution & Storage, Smart Mobility & Transportation, Quality Energy Access & SDG-7

General requirements for participation in the competition:

Applicants may only apply for one category;

The company representing the start-up must be founded no earlier than 2011;

The application, including all attached documents, must be in English;

A start-up company must present an already functioning / working product. In addition, the company must be registered or is in the process of registration, or, for example, be able to submit relevant documents for joint cooperation with any partner (state organization, private company, etc.);

The applicant must complete the registration form in full.

Partially completed applications will not be accepted.

Prizes and other benefits of participation in the SET Award competition:

For winners:

-winners in each category can receive up to 10,000 euros;

-The World Energy Council will present the startup's profile to its global network in 99 countries.

For 15 finalists:

-SET Award finalists are given the opportunity to fly to Berlin to participate in the SET Tech Festival (the organizers take over the travel and accommodation costs for 2 startup participants);

-As part of the SET Tech Festival, finalists will receive pitch coaching, a meeting with the competition jury, their own presentation stand, various thematic performances, meeting investors, assistance in creating their own communication content (interviews, branding, etc.), access to exclusive partner events around the world, as well as a chance to get a ticket to the international forum Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue.

For participants who made it to # SET100 - 2022:

-The top 100 startups (#SET100) participating in the award will be featured in our annual publication, which will be distributed to investors, high-profile corporations and interested political stakeholders around the world;

-The top 100 applicants will also receive a free ticket to participate in the SET Tech Festival 2022 and will be able to participate in the 25th World Energy Congress in St. Petersburg.
