The opening of the winter school \"AUES IT CAMP\" has been held at AUPET

On February 1, 2022, the opening of the winter school "AUES IT CAMP" for high school students was held at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev. “We are proud to have this course at our university. "AUES IT CAMP" is a 5-day camp where students of grades 8-11 have interactive programming workshops. “Python is a simple, but at the same time, a well-developed programming language that allows you to simplify the implementation of complex tasks in almost any science or industry. After completing the course, students will have a clear understanding of how to program in Python,” said lecturer Gaziz Seytkali.

The launch of this project was carried out thanks to the well-coordinated work of the Institute for Advanced Studies and the Department “Information Systems and Cybersecurity”. “Last year, the Rector Saule Savetovna Sagintayeva opened the summer school “AUES IT CAMP”. Then there was a very interesting program that aroused keen interest among young people. They, having studied for 2 weeks, received certificates. Now this year we have launched a winter school, which is also a huge success. And I would like to wish the participants today not to be afraid to learn new programming languages. You have a serious competitive advantage, as our certified Python specialist teaches at AUPET. You will be trained at the level of our students. On the first day of training, students learned about many nuances in Python programming. “It was interesting for us here, it was very informative. I have learned a lot.
