Meeting of students with the senior lecturer of the military department of MUIT Bakytzhan Bekniyazov

A meeting with the senior lecturer of the military department of MUIT, retired colonel Bakytzhan Bekniyazov was held at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev on February 24, 2022. He held a presentation for students, during which he spoke about the admission process, as well as about the benefits of military service. After the presentation, questions were asked to the colonel.

- I am assigned to the military registration and enlistment office of the city of Taldykorgan. Will it somehow affect the admission to your military department?

- You need to withdraw from the military register and register in Almaty, or in 5 districts of the Almaty region - Zhambyl, Ili, Enbekshikazakh, Talgar, Karasai. You can go through medical examinations at these local military registration and enlistment offices. All the rest - Taldykorgan, Karaganda, Aktau, and so on - are removed from the military register and here they get on the military register, undergo a medical examination at the place of registration / registration.

- What is the selection process?

- The competition for the selection of cneltynjd is carried out in four stages: 1) Passing a medical examination; 2) Conducting professional psychological testing; 3) Checking physical fitness; 4) Competitive selection. Passing each stage of the competition is allowed only once. A candidate who has not passed the previous stage is not allowed to the next stage.

- What do the girls in the department do?

- Girls are trained according to the officers' program, but you will not have training camps, but practice.

- Is it possible to enter the military department after 26 years?

- No, we accept up to 25 years. Please submit your application by May 20, 2022.

- If I am expelled from the university, will it affect the preparation?

- Expulsion from the university is an automatic suspension from military training at the department.

At the end of the event, Bekniyazov urged students not to be afraid to join the military, as the army needs highly educated specialists who, with their knowledge, will only strengthen the military security of independent Kazakhstan.
