Company “Beeline” opened its doors to AUPET students

On March 2, 2022, students of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev visited the office “Beeline” as part of the career guidance and educational program Job trip. “I am a graduate of AUPET, and I got into “Beeline” thanks to my hard work. I started out as an engineer on a first responder, and during one mission, I got interested in the transmission. So I sat down at the desk again and began to learn by doing. “Beeline” is one of the few companies that support continuous training of their employees. We have a wonderful library with unique books on the shelves. And we hope that tomorrow you will become part of our team,” said Ruslan Ayupov, head of technical service of “Beeline”.

During the presentation, the students asked questions to the representatives of the company.

- In addition to communication services, what do you offer?

- We have proposals for the mining industry and agriculture. Miners can use our network to remotely control equipment. In agriculture, we have solutions for measuring soil and air moisture. We recently implemented a unique project in Taldykorgan to measure the body temperature of cows in order to accurately predict their readiness for insemination. We are confident that such a proposal will save a lot of money for the livestock industry in Kazakhstan.

- Are you going to deploy your “Starlink”?

- We have it in the plans. We tested a similar system at medium altitudes, but, unfortunately, this pilot project of ours proved to be unprofitable.

- How many stations are deployed throughout Kazakhstan?

- there are more than 1500 stations in Almaty, and more than 8 thousand stations are deployed throughout Kazakhstan.

How has the pandemic affected your work?

- Our traffic has increased and the terms for replacing stations have been reduced. We work non-stop, as we try not to let our customers down.

After the presentation, the students received gifts from “Beeline”, and they were also shown the control center and the operating station.
