Vice-Rector Serik Makhmutov: The female half of humanity, thank you for all the good things in this life!

On March 5, 2022, a concert was held at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev on the eve of International Women's Day - March 8. “Dear female half of AUPET, let me heartily congratulate you on this holiday! I found out, it turns out that we have 61% of women. I wish you to be loved and remain as beautiful!”, said Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation activities Almaz Sauhimov.

- I got up this morning and asked myself - what will happen if I switch roles and become a woman for one day? - Vice-rector for social and educational work Serik Makhmutov spoke. - I have to cook breakfast, work all day at work, shop in the evening, come home, cook food and put the baby to bed. What about a man? Meal, sofa and remote control. Egoist! (Laughter and applause from the audience.) So the female half of humanity, thank you for all the good things in this life! After the speech of the vice-rectors, the musical and theatrical performances of the student clubs were presented, as well as talented representatives of the male team presented performances for women of AUPET.
