WE CONGRATULATE BAIPAKBAYEV TURKESTAN SEIDAKHMETOVICH ON THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY!

March 17, 2022 Baipakbaev Turkestan Seidakhmetovich, Associate Professor of the Department of Space Engineering, turns 75 years old.

Baipakbaev Turkestan Seidakhmetovich in 1975 graduated from the Faculty of Physics of the Kazakh State University named after S. M. Kirov.

Turkestan Seidakhmetovich began his teaching career as a physics teacher, then served as deputy director for academic work of a secondary school in the Chilik district of the Almaty region until 1977.

Since 1977, Baipakbaev Turkestan Seidakhmetovich has been working at AUPET, ranging from an engineer to an associate professor of the Physics department (since 2019, the Physics department has been attached to the Space Engineering department). In 2010, he defended his thesis and was awarded the title of Candidate of Technical Sciences.

Turkestan Seidakhmetovich lectured not only on the general course of physics, but also on other special courses (“Physics 1”, “Physics 2”, “Physics of electromagnetic waves”, “Ballistics”, “Radio transmitting devices”, etc.) in Kazakh and Russian languages ​​and at all faculties of AUPET.

Turkestan Seidakhmetovich has more than 100 scientific and educational works, including 9 manuals.

Turkestan Seidakhmetovich, during the opening of the first Kazakh department at the AIPE, did a lot of work to provide the department with teaching aids in the Kazakh language. Turkestan Seidakhmetovich at that time supervised the creation of textbooks in the state language for teachers not only of the department of "physics", but also of other departments. At that time, the institute, together with faculty, published many textbooks in the Kazakh language, such as “Russian-Kazakh commentary”, “theoretical foundations of electronics”, “labor protection and technical safety”, “collection of problems in the course of general physics”.

At present, Turkestan Seidakhmetovich, manages the preparation of methodological and teaching aids for young teachers of the department.

Turkestan Seidakhmetovich also takes an active part in the educational, public and propaganda work of the university. He worked as deputy chairman of the AUPET trade union committee and is a member of the trade union organization of the university.

Turkestan Seidakhmetovich is the leader and organizer of scientific, student conferences, olympiads, which are held annually at the university in the subject of "Physics". The students trained by him constantly win prizes.

Turkestan Seidakhmetovich, is also the head of diploma projects for undergraduate students in the specialty "Space Technique and Technology".

For special merits in teaching, Turkestan Seidakhmetovich was repeatedly awarded with "Certificates of Honor" and "letters of thanks" from AUPET and from the Ministry of Education of the Kazakh SSR. He is the owner of special medals "For Special Merit".
