President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev: I will do everything that depends on me. It is my duty as President and son of my people

There are many examples of this in ancient and recent world history, when individual countries lost a huge part of their territory, fell into the abyss of chaos and anarchy (...). The course towards building a New Kazakhstan is aimed at changing the paradigm of the country's development. We think over every step and firmly follow the intended path. In New Kazakhstan, we must invariably follow the principle: different views, but one nation," the President said.

New Kazakhstan is a people with a high spirit. “We will take into account the lessons of the past and step forward with confidence. Our people need unity, wisdom and restraint. We must carefully analyze our decisions and consider steps. A people with a high spirit of patriotism always achieves its goals,” the President said. “Our idea is to create new Kazakhstan. What does this mean? New Kazakhstan is an image of an independent Kazakhstan in the future. A people who looks uncertainly into the future of their country cannot create a strong state. There are many examples from history. We are confident that our future will be developed and we will create a bright future with our own hands," he said.

The presidential project of New Kazakhstan is structural reforms of the entire political and social system. "We need well-considered steps to reorganize the political model of Kazakhstan's development. First of all, we are talking about the final transition from a super-presidential form of government to a presidential republic with a strong Parliament. Such a system will ensure an optimal balance of power institutions and will contribute to the sustainable development of the country," the Head said. states.

After the completion of the speech of the President, the Rector of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev Saule Sagintayeva addressed the audience. "Dear colleagues! We unanimously support all the provisions from the Address of the Head of State to the people of Kazakhstan. Our common goal is to strengthen the independence and build the New Kazakhstan (...).
