Working visit of deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan to AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev

On March 18, 2022, the deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. T. Zhumagulov, D. Zh. Nuketaeva, S. A. Makezhanov, N. B. Zhusip paid a working visit to the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev. The Rector S. S. Sagintayeva and Chairman of the Board of Directors S. Zh. Daukei welcomed a group of deputies of the Senate.

The Rector and chairman of the board of directors made a presentation and introduced the deputies of the Senate to the history and modernity of AUPET. They spoke about the partners of the university and the success of the faculty and students.

The Department of Science and Commercialization presented AUPET scientific projects. Then a group of Senate deputies visited the laboratories: TUR, radio assembly, electrical machines, telecommunications systems and companies Schneider Electric, Siemens, Apple and Huawei.

At the end of the event, faculty and students demonstrated to the deputies of the Senate student projects and developments that are aimed at the innovative development of the energy industry, robotics and instrumentation.
