WE CONGRATULATE ZHANTURIN MALIK ZHAILAUBAEVICH ON THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY!

On March 27, Associate Professor of the Department “Power Supply and Renewable Energy Sources” Zhanturin Malik Zhailaubaevich celebrates his 75th birthday.

Zhanturin Malik Zhailaubaevich was born on March 27, 1947 in the village Auliekol, Kostanay region.

In 1965, Zhanturin Malik Zhailaubaevich graduated from the Auliekol secondary school. In the same year, he entered the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute with a degree in “Electrification and Automation of Mining Works”. In 1970, Zhanturin Malik Zhailaubaevich graduated from the institute. His speciality was a Mining Electrical Engineer. He was sent to work at the Karaganda Research, Design and Experimental Institute for the creation of mining machines and equipment "Giprouglegormash".

From 1970 to 1984, Zhanturin Malik Zhailaubaevich worked at the institute as a junior researcher, then a senior researcher and chief designer. In 1982, he defended his Ph.D. thesis at the Moscow Mining Institute.

В 1984 году Zhanturin Malik Zhailaubaevich прошел по конкурсу в Рудненский индустриальный институт. Там он проработал по 2008 год в должности заведующего разными кафедрами, декана горного факультета.

In 1989, by the decision of the USSR State Committee for Public Education Zhanturin M.Zh. was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor, and in 2003, by decision of the Academic Council of the Institute, he was awarded the academic title of Professor.

From 2008 to 2016, Zhanturin Malik Zhailaubaevich worked as an assistant professor at the Department “Electric Power Engineering and Automation of Technological Complexes” of the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev. There he delivered lectures, conducted practical and laboratory classes in electrical power disciplines for students of Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programs. He actively participated in scientific work, being responsible for the scientific work of the department.

From 2016 to the present, Zhanturin Malik Zhailaubaevich has been working as an associate professor at the Department “Power Supply and Renewable Energy Sources” of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev. He deliveries lectures and conducts laboratory classes in the following disciplines: for students  of Bachelor’s programs - Electrical Appliances; Electrical equipment of switchgears with voltage up to and above 1000 V; Electrical installations of industrial enterprises; Electrical equipment of industrial enterprises; Safety precautions in power plants; Use of renewable energy sources; for students of Master's programs - Dynamic characteristics of air currents and wind as an energy carrier for systemic and autonomous energy. Zhanturin M.Zh. supervises bachelor's degree design and master's theses.

For the entire period of work Zhanturin M.Zh. has published over 70 scientific and scientific-methodical works. During his work at Non-profit JSC “AUPET”, he has published 5 scientific papers and has received a patent for a utility model. He has published 15 scientific and methodological works in two languages ​​(lecture notes and guidelines).

In 2020 Zhanturin M.Zh. was elected a full member of the International Informatization Academy.
