Representatives of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev and \"Tech Garden\" have signed a memorandum of cooperation and interaction

Representatives of Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev and the Autonomous Cluster Fund "Park of Innovative Technologies" (Tech Garden) have signed a memorandum of cooperation and interaction. The purpose of this memorandum is the development of joint innovative projects in the field of Industry 4.0, smart technologies, energy supply, energy efficiency and improving the competencies of employees of industrial enterprises in Kazakhstan.

“For more than 45 years, the university has been training engineering and technical personnel for high-tech and strategic sectors of the economy,” said Saule Sagintayeva, the Rector of AUPET. - It is AUPET graduates who solve the problems of modernizing the fuel and energy complex and communication networks for decarbonization and greening the economy, as well as digitalization of its industries. Today, more than seven and a half thousand students study at the university. 85% of them are holders of a state grant. This testifies to the relevance and prospects of our educational programs. Training for Industry 4.0 is a priority. The high rate of employment of graduates is an undoubted recognition of the quality of education at our university.

The mission of Tech Garden is to create an ecosystem to support industrial enterprises, universities and innovative companies in their digital transformation and stimulate the active adoption of digital technologies.

“To create an ecosystem, we use the capabilities of our universities to provide training and advanced training,” said Askar Sembin, CEO of "Tech Garden". - As an autonomous cluster fund, we provide the Smart Industry Management Platform (SIMP) digital platform, on the basis of which a pool of high-quality IT solutions is assembled, and industrial enterprises place their real tasks. The operating principle of the platform is open innovation. Industrial enterprises quickly find the most effective solutions for their tasks with the help of domestic IT companies, including the Technology Development Centers created by Tech Garden.
