The spirit of national science! We are full of creative and unique ideas, interesting and worthy achievements!

Scientists of the "Center for the Study of Historical Events of Kazakhstan" of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev held a scientific seminar. The theme was: "Some problems of rehabilitation of victims of political repressions in Almaty". It was timed to coincide with the Day of Scientists of Kazakhstan. Members of the Almaty commission for the full rehabilitation of victims of political repression and lecturers of the department of social disciplines took part in the seminar.

5 lecturers of the Department “Social Disciplines” are part of the research groups of the Almaty Commission. It consists of 9 directions. Three lecturers lead the working groups of the Almaty commission for the full rehabilitation of victims of political repressions of the city commission. Given the effective implementation of research work, representatives of our university supported the idea of creating a Center for the Study of Historical Events of Kazakhstan.

Reports and presentations of scientific researchers: candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Kabdushev B.Zh., doctor of political sciences, professor Mukhambedyarova A.T., candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Tolenova Z.M., candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Utegaliyeva A.D. were heard during the workshop. The results of research in the areas were considered:

1. The process of searching in archives;

2. Implementation of a media plan to cover the activities of the Commission for the Complete Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repressions;

3. Issue of thematic collections of working groups included in the general edition of the state commission;

4. Ways to strengthen volunteering at the regional level;

5. The problem of identifying victims of mass political repression;

6. Development of proposals for holding events dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repressions in Kazakhstan on May 31.

The participants of the event were able to get acquainted in detail with the research work of the Center and ask questions to the leaders of the working groups.

According to the unanimous opinion of the participants of the scientific seminar, science plays an important role in the development of the country's economy. Without science, the introduction of new technologies and knowledge, without digitalization, as we are seeing today, success is impossible both in the economy and in the social sphere. Kazakh scientists are actively working on solving important problems, developing promising areas of domestic science. Active measures are being taken to support promising scientific centers and conditions for the professional growth of scientists are being created at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev.

Every year the scientific potential of our team increases. The university is widely known for its work in academia in a number of ways. Scientific schools have been formed. Basic and applied research is being carried out. International relations are developing.

The work of a scientist is always interesting, hard work, which inspires respect at all times. On this significant day, we want to thank Kazakh scientists for their daily painstaking work, those unique projects and works, in the plans and implementation of which the spirit of national science is realized. We wish each new day to be full of creative and unique ideas, useful and great discoveries, interesting and worthy achievements!
