Olympiad in German on the topic “Eine andere Sprache ist eine andere Vision des Lebens”

On April 13, 2022, the second round of the German Language Olympiad was held at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev. It was held among first year students. The theme was “Eine andere Sprache ist eine andere Vision des Lebens” (Another language, another vision of life). The first round was held on November 22, 2021, in the format of online testing. According to the results of the first round, 15 students passed to the second round, 11 students took part.

The tasks of the second round included: listening to the text in German and performing various tasks on the text they listened to, reading the text and performing various tasks on it, as well as speaking on a free topic (students chose tickets with the name of various topics and freely, in their own words, revealed the topics given to them ). Each student was able to show his German language skills. The students answered all the questions asked by the teachers, thus they were able to demonstrate the level of German language (A-1).
