With the blessing of the ancestors to the future

In the State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum "Issyk" a good tradition exists, which is almost 12 years old. The reserve-museum has existed for as long. Every year on April 18, on the International Day of Monuments and Historic Sites, the museum meets its friends and partners. The goal is to say thank them for their cooperation and make new plans. This year was no exception. Representatives of travel companies, media representatives who promote the museum as a tourist attraction, as well as guests, teachers from the National Center for Advanced Studies "Orleu" gathered for the holiday. Performances by akyns-improvisers, a demonstration of traditional Kazakh weapons from a reenactor, a demonstration of the art of national hunting with birds of prey (kusbegelik), planting shrubs and trees - a gift from sponsors who help in landscaping the territory were in the program of the event. There were gifts for friends, gifts from friends, a lot of warm words, a lot of sun, treats for a festive dastarkhan in the yurt. But the most memorable event was the visit of students and faculty of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev. This is their first visit to the reserve-museum.

Beken Nurmukhamedov is one of the discoverers of the Golden Man. He called visiting the reserve-museum a pilgrimage, and visitors - pilgrims. First-year students of AUPET, future engineers of various specialties, made a pilgrimage to their origins, to their Saka ancestors. In January, at a meeting with entrepreneurs, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, said that the future of the country belongs to engineers. Tomorrow they will develop our industry, raise the economy of the country, which has taken a course towards industrialization. How can one do without the blessing of the ancestors?

Students came to the holiday with their concert program. Under the eternal sky, the melodies of the kyuis “Balbyrauyn”, “Erke sylkym”, “Aday” performed by Duyseke Sanzhar (EPSk 21-1), Shubay Ramazan (SISk-21-4), Tersynali Aida and Aptareyeva Shapagat sounded. Students Erlan Abdigaliev (SISk-21-8), Nerbolat Ulagat (ISk-21-2) and Zhumabai Nurkat (EEK 21-11) read verses from Mukagali Makatayev's poem "Rayymbek", A. Asylbek's poem "Altyn Adam". The Kazakh dance performed by Berdygulova Ayaulym (RETk-21-5) simply captivated the audience. She personified the awakened power of nature against the backdrop of eternal gray mountain peaks by the beauty of the costume, light, impetuous movements. The final song "Uyde" did not leave anyone indifferent to the accompaniment of the guitar of Azamat Boranbaev (EEk 21-5), which was picked up by all the participants of the concert. With this song, our pilgrims, as it were, declared: “We are at home, and we are the masters of this land!” Acquaintance with history in the form of an entertaining quest in competition with another team will remain in the memory of students for a long time. History cannot be a boring subject when it comes to life in antiquities under the guidance of experienced mentors - museum staff. The flash mob against the backdrop of mounds, to the peaceful buzzing of the "all-seeing" drone forever capturing this fascinating pilgrimage of our "future" to its origins in the Saki Museum, completed the festive program of the event.

We know that these young people will never be the same again, having come into contact with the eternal, they took with them impressions that, at the very beginning of their formation, will forever determine their values.

The pilgrimage took place and the future of the country is in good hands.
