Olympiads in the specialties \"Electrical Engineering\" and \"Heat Power Engineering\" were held at the AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev
Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev is the base university for the Republican Subject Olympiad in the specialty "Electrical Engineering" and in the specialty "Heat Power Engineering". The university received this honorary right again thanks to the first place taken by university students at last year's Olympiads.
Unlike the last two years, the current Olympiad in the specialties "Electrical Engineering" and "Heat Power Engineering" was held in a mixed format. At AUPET, the Olympiad in the specialty "Electrical Engineering" was held on April 15, and in the specialty "Heat Power Engineering" was held on April 20.
The teams were from different regions of Kazakhstan and about 20 specialized universities took part, such as:
- Al-Farabi Kazakh National University;
-Eurasian National University named after Lev Gumilyov (ENU);
- Kazakh National Research Technical University named after Kanysh Satpayev (KazNRTU);
- Kazakh University of Railways;
- Karaganda Industrial University;
- Toraigyrov University;
- North Kazakhstan University named after M. Kozybaev;
- Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov;
- Kozha Akhmet Yasaui atyndagy Halykaralik kazak-turik university;
- Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata;
- West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University
- West Kazakhstan Agrarian Technical University named after Zhangir Khan
- Academy of Logistics and Transport;
- Taraz Regional University named after Dulaty;
- Taraz Regional University named after Dulaty;
- Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after S.Seifullin
- Karaganda University named after Buketov
- Aktobe Regional University named after Zhubanov
- Shakarim University of Semey
- Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after S.Seifullin
- Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev (AUPET);
According to the accepted rules, the AUPET team, as the organizing university, participated out of competition. By tradition, in the individual competition, one first place, two second and three third places are played.
Temirbulatov Karim Rashidovich (first place) scored the highest score in the specialty "Electric Power Engineering'' from the Toraigyrs of the University. The second place was taken by Abenov Daulet Muratovich and Pichkur Gleb Evgenievich. Toraigyrov University also took first place in the team standings.
Diplomas for the third place were awarded to Zhalgabaev Saken Zhenisuly (Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi), Medeu Kairat Maratuly (West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University named after Zhangir Khan) and Gabyl-Manapova Fariza Askhatkyzy (Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. Satpaev).
In the team standings, one first place, second and third places were played:
1st place - Toraigyrov University;
2nd place - KazNRTU named after Kanysh Satpayev;
3rd place - North Kazakhstan University named after M. Kozybaev.
In the specialty “Heat power engineering”, two students from the Shakarim University of Semey took the first place Anton Ivanovich Manulenko and the second place Taitenov Rinat Kuatovich, and the second place was taken by Abay Ansat from the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov.
Diplomas for the third place were received by two students from the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi: Ibrayev Sultan Askhatovich and Nuradil Eldos Toleubekully. Kasymov Didar from the Eurasian National University named after LN Gumilyov took 3rd place.
In the team standings, one first place, second and third places were played out:
1st place - Shakarim University, Semey city;
2nd place - Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov;
3rd place - Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The Olympiad was held successfully thanks to the efforts of lecturers and heads of the departments "Electrical Engineering" and "Thermal Power Plants". The Department of Science and Commercialization, the Institute of Thermal Power Engineering and Control Systems, the Institute of Electricity and Electrical Engineering and the Department of Marketing contributed to the organization of the Olympiad. All participants of the Olympiad gained not only valuable experience, but also studied advanced modern equipment and software with interest. Our university is always open for integration, exchange of experience and cooperation, both with domestic and foreign universities.
