Seminar \"Development of the creative potential of youth in the XXI century: the view of science, philosophy and religion\"

On May 11, 2022, an employee of the Institute for Studies in Global Prosperity (ISGP) Timur Chekparbaev visited  AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev .

The meeting took place in the small reading room of our university. The activities of the ISGP are dedicated to developing the ability of individuals, groups and institutions to contribute to the prevailing discourses related to the improvement of society and based on science and religion, as two complementary systems of knowledge and practice. Students of group AC-20-7, AC-20-6 took part in the meeting. Timur Chekparbaev told how the events of the last century influenced modern events. The guest identified four causes of global problems of our time: interdependence of countries, self-determination of nations, demographic explosions, growth of technologies.

Associate Professor of the Department of Social Disciplines Abrakhmatova Gulnara Abraykulovna was the moderator of the meeting. The issues of the need to create new education systems and teaching methods, new systems of international relations and arms limitation were considered at the meeting. Abrakhmatova G.A. raised questions that the next 30 years would be an "age of education" in which people would have to learn much more than ever before. This is due to the fact that people will have to get used to so many innovations and changes that humanity has not encountered in its entire existence. Behind the desire of people to get an education is their understanding that in our age of rapid changes, only fundamental knowledge gives a person the opportunity to correctly assess current events and make adequate decisions.

At the end of the event, the students expressed their gratitude to the guest for the seminar.
