The students of AUPET college named after Gumarbek Daukeyev have held a challenge for the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repressions

On May 31, 2022, the students of the AUPET college named after Gumarbek Daukeyev held a challenge for the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repressions. They recorded videos and read poems and works of repressed representatives of the Kazakh intelligentsia. The event was attended by:

1. Utegenov Daulet;
2. Sovetkaliev Alinur;
3. Kasymov Alibek;
4. Nurdaulet Madi;
5. Kommunarov Islam;
6. Beksultanov Madi;
7. Kaiyrbek Abai;
8. Akseitov Maksat;
9. Saurambaev Anuar.

May 31 is the day of Remembrance. This is one of the most tragic pages in the history of Kazakhstan - mass political repressions and large-scale famine. Over 5 million people were exiled to the territory of our country during the years of repression.

Every year, since 1997, the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repressions has been celebrated in Kazakhstan.
