Representatives of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev and the company “FESTO-RK” have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

On May 23, 2022, the Rector of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev Saule Sagintayeva and the director of the company “FESTO-RK” Stanislav Kuskov signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. “Dear Stanislav Olegovich, I am glad to welcome you to our best university! It is gratifying that you have shown interest - we have common ground in the field of Automation. A whole department works in our university in Automation, where Professor Hisarov Bulat Dzhantemirovich stood at the origins. The strongest applicants with the highest UNT scores go there to study. Therefore, our graduates are in high demand in the industrial sector. (...) When Igor Anatolyevich [Fedorenko] proposed the idea of contacting you and working together, we supported him. We cooperate with trusted partners!” - said the rector Saule Sagintayeva.

Director of the company “FESTO-RK” Stanislav Kuskov thanked the Rector Saule Sagintaeva and the head of the department “Automation and Control” Igor Fedorenko. He said that "the company has been working with large companies in the market of Kazakhstan for more than 20 years and is ready to be an intermediary between them and the university, as it is in the common interest." The parties discussed issues of further cooperation in the development of the WorldSkills movement. “Our company appeared in Germany, where support for technical specialties and professions is a state ideology. The WorldSkills movement feeds this ideology. Our company itself is a partner of this movement in Kazakhstan. We are ready to provide all kinds of support to AUPET students in their preparation for the WorldSkills competitions!” said Stanislav Kuskov.

Director of the Department for Academic Activities Rufina Mukhamedzhanova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Thermal Power Engineering and Control Systems Ayaulym Yamanbekova and Professor of the Department “Automation and Control” Aksholpan Kopesbayeva took part in the event.

After the official ceremony of signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation, the parties discussed the experience of Western universities in the development of technical and engineering professions.The Rector Saule Sagintayeva shared the opinion of European colleagues about AUPET students and said that “there our students are praised for coming to them with the strong knowledge they received at our university”.
