Sayasat Nurbek has taken the oath as Minister of Science and Higher Education

On June 14, 2022, Sayasat Nurbek took the oath as Minister of Science and Higher Education at a government meeting. His department will oversee issues of higher and postgraduate education, language policy and science.

Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov recalled that as a result of the separation of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Education were formed. "Sayasat Nurbek has been appointed Minister of Science and Higher Education. Askhat Aimagambetov has become the Minister of Education, who is celebrating his 40th birthday today, congratulations. We congratulate our colleagues on their new position and wish them success in their work!" he said.

The reorganization of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan by dividing it into the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education is the right way to a qualitative breakthrough in the development of the entire system of national education in Kazakhstan.
