Scientists of the first energy company successfully develop unique \"green\" technologies
The webinar was held at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev on June 15, 2022. It was held by Senior Lecturer of the Department "Telecommunications and Innovative Technologies", Ph.D Saule Kumyzbayeva. The theme was “RES installations are AUPET developments”. This event was held within the framework of the international expert club "Green World Club".
“Dear listeners of the webinar,” said Saule Kumyzbayeva, “the transition to green energy and decarbonization is the main task facing the entire energy industry of Kazakhstan today. (...) As a "green" university, AUPET is in the top 400+ among 780 universities in the world. We have four educational programs. They train highly qualified specialists in the field of green energy. These programs are coordinated with enterprises. Our scientists have developed such projects as "Energy from Waste", "Geothermal Polygeneration Plant", "GPS Solar Panel Tracker System" and many others. "Energy from Waste" is a unique project that fully meets the requirements of the time."
During the webinar, it was noted that there are climate features in Kazakhstan. They create some barriers to the introduction of international approaches in the development of the energy industry. Despite this, Kazakh science has directed its efforts towards achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
The webinar "RES installations are AUPET developments" held on June 15 demonstrated to the audience that scientists at AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev have unique knowledge and competencies in creating, developing and scaling "green" technologies in Kazakhstan.
