Announcement of the competition for the State Youth Award \"Daryn\"
The Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces a competition for the State Youth Award "Daryn"
The "Daryn" Prize is awarded annually for the purpose of state support of talented youth for fruitful scientific, creative, social activities, as well as for high sporting achievements.
The competition will be held in 10 nominations:
- "Literature",
- "Science",
- "Design and Fine Arts",
- "Journalism",
- "Classical Music",
- "Social activities",
- "Sports",
- "Theater and cinema",
- "Bandstand",
- "Folk art".
Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the age of 29 at the time of the application deadline apply for the award. They must be laureates of international and republican competitions, festivals and exhibitions; prize-winners and winners of sports competitions at the republican and international levels, as well as candidates whose activities are innovative and contribute to the development of the relevant industry and society as a whole.
Nominations for the award are made by state bodies and public associations.
Persons awarded the prize are awarded the title of “Laureate of the State Youth Prize “Daryn”. They receive a diploma, a badge and a cash prize.
Annually, the presentation of the "Daryn" award is planned in a solemn atmosphere for the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

* The Daryn Award was established in 1992. Over the years, more than 300 people from various fields became the owners of this award.
