A new educational program \"6B07124 - Automated Electromechanical Systems\" has been opened at AUPET

The new educational program "Automated Electromechanical Systems" includes electromechanical energy converters (electric machines), their control systems and process automation systems based on them. Automated Electromechanical Systems are the main component of technological processes:

- in metallurgy, where Automated Electromechanical Systems of rolling mills and other equipment determine the productivity and quality of products;

- in the mining and processing industry - this is the electric drive of mining combines, conveyors, lifting machines, mills, screens, etc.;

- in the light and food industries, the technologies of which are equipped with complex Automated Electromechanical Systems integrated automatic control systems;

- on main pipelines (oil and gas pipelines, water lines) located in almost all regions of Kazakhstan;

- at thermal power plants, where the technological cycle is based on Automated Electromechanical Systems of high-power centrifugal pumps;

- in the housing and communal sector, which combines water and heat supply systems.

            In all these sectors of the economy, Automated Electromechanical Systems are not only the main driving force, but also the basis for automating technological processes of any complexity.

          Thus, graduates of this educational program can work in almost all sectors of the economy (metallurgy, mechanical engineering, oil and gas industry, housing and communal services, chemical and nuclear industries, etc.), as well as in the field of creation and operation of electric drive systems for household appliances, medicine and various types of transport devices.

          This is a feature of specialists in this area and provides a constant and high demand in the labor market. The need to design new Automated Electromechanical Systems, modernize and competently operate existing ones, allows the graduate to choose the type of activity in accordance with the inclinations and within the framework of the received specialty.

An applicant who purposefully chooses this specialty can become the owner of these grants.
