Visit of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On August 27, after the meeting with rectors of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek and the chairman of the Association of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rahman Alshanov visited the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbeka Daukeyev.

The guests studied the technical equipment of AUPET, innovative laboratories and research centers. They visited the Competence Center "Industry 4.0". Complete equipment from all major world manufacturers of industrial automation and digitization tools operating in Kazakhstan: Schnelder Electric, SIEMENS, Honeywell, National Instruments; Tornado modular systems "Automated Systems of Control of Technological Processes" are concentrated.

The stands used in the laboratory " Hardware and Software Control System Tools" are the result of a start-up of AUPET graduates.

During the meeting, scientific projects of university students and student startups were presented.

In a conversation with professors and students, the Minister emphasized the importance of university science, expansion of university relations with industrial partners and business, increase in funding of research and experimental design works and applied studies.
