WE CONGRATULATE ZHAKUPOV ALMAS AUSYDYKOVICH ON THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY!

Professor of the Department "Management and Entrepreneurship in Engineering" Zhakupov Almas Ausydykovich celebrates his 70th birthday on October 24th.

Zhakupov Almas Ausydykovich graduated from Almaty Institute of Power Engineering and Telecommunications with a degree in “Power Plants” in 1975. His specialty was an electrical engineer. Almas Ausydykovich studied at the graduate school of the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute named after M.I. Kalinin, majoring in "Electrical Stations and Substations" from 1979 to 1982.

  The degree of candidate of economic sciences in the specialty "Economics and Management of the National Economy" was awarded to Almas Ausydykovich in 2002.

          The academic title of "Academic Professor" in the Department “Economics, Organization and Management of Production” was awarded to Almas Ausydykovich in 2005. He is the author of more than 60 scientific and methodological papers, monographs and teaching aids. He is an expert of the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Republic of Kazakhstan (RNM RK) on tariff policy in the energy sector. Almas Ausydykovich is an Honored Power Engineer of the Kazakhstan Energy Association (KEA) of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2017.

Zhakupov Almas Ausydykovich worked at Almaty Institute of Power Engineering and Telecommunications as a junior researcher in the research sector, engineer in the research sector, trainee researcher at the Department “Electrical Stations and Substations” from 1975 to 1997.

Almas Ausydykovich worked at the Almaty Institute of Power Engineering and Telecommunications as a senior lecturer, associate professor, professor, head of the department “Economics, Organization and Management of Production” from 1997 to 2017.

Zhakupov Almas Ausydykovich has been the head of the Laboratory for the Study of Problems of the Fuel Energy Complex (LSPFEC) from 2017 to the present. He continues teaching as a professor at the Department “Management and Entrepreneurship in Engineering” from 2018 to the present.

Zhakupov Almas Ausydykovich participated in projects for the assessment and examination of energy facilities: LLP "ShalkiyaZinc LTD", LLP "Zhambyl Electric Networks", JSC "Zhezkazgan Regional Electric Grid Company", JSC "CERG Hardware and Software Complex», LLP "Ontustik Zharyk Transit", JSC " Pavlodar energoservis", LLP "Energosistema", LLP “Kokshetau Energo”, OJSC “KEGOC”, JSC “Astana City Electricity Networks”, JSC “Akmola Electricity Distribution Company”, etc.

Zhakupov Almas Ausydykovich was repeatedly awarded diplomas of the rector of the Almaty Institute of Energy and Communications, the rector of NRU "MPEI" N.D. Rogalev, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as certificates of honor from various departments for merits in scientific and pedagogical activities and the training of highly qualified specialists.
