Round table dedicated to Republic Day

On the occasion of Republic Day, October 25, in order to instill in students
love for their homeland, respect for national values ​​and state symbols, knowledge
of the history of their country, on October 21, 2022, a round table was held in
hostel No. 1, organized by senior teachers of the Department of Social Disciplines
Abdіkalyk A.A. and A.Z Bisenova with the participation of students of the RETk-
22-1,2,4 group.
Students took an active part in this event and made presentations on the topics
"The meaning and content of the declaration of state sovereignty of the Kazakh
SSR", "Kazakhstan on the way to independence", "Patriotism is the highest sign of
the national spirit" and others. Also, poems by prominent Kazakh poets M.
Makataev, Yu. Nazhimedenov and M. Shakhanov about the Motherland, love for
the native land, and native language were read. In addition to speeches with
reports, an exchange of views took place on specific actual examples, students
expressed their opinions on the significance and importance of this day in the
history of our country.
It is gratifying that this Republic Day holiday is now celebrated as a national
holiday, it is necessary to study the achievements and set new tasks for the future.
This also leads to an understanding of the essence of sovereignty at the height of
national consciousness. As the Head of State noted at a meeting of the National
Kurultai on June 16, 2022, this day should become a symbol of the country's
historical steps to build a state.
