The purpose of the event: The project was implemented with the support of the US
Embassy in the Republic of Kazakhstan to establish closer ties between experts in the field of
renewable energy and journalists for the benefit of Kazakhstanis for education in matters of
green energy, in countering disinformation and fake news about climate change problems,
renewable energy in Kazakhstan, low-carbon commitments of the country and strategies to
ensure their implementation, which has become a global topic of the coming decades for the
implementation of international agreements to reduce emissions from industrial facilities.
 On November 10, 2022, journalists and media representatives of the club's experts were
invited to the AUPET for the international GREEN Media Forum, where they will be able to
personally meet and discuss issues on improving the quality of coverage of the topic of
renewable energy in the mass media.
 On November 11, 2022, departure for an excursion to the operating facility of the Wind
power plant of Samruk-Energy JSC.
Regular, knowledge-based reporting by AUEC experts and guest speakers will help Kazakhstani
society mobilize its efforts to achieve the country's commitments.
Expected results:
The program of the Forum includes speeches on the implementation of Green Initiatives in the
country, renewable energy facilities in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, hydrogen energy,
environmental aspects and legislation, issues of improving energy efficiency. Media
representatives will visit the AUPET training laboratories on renewable energy sources, get
qualified first-hand information support on green technologies, to improve the quality and
quantity of publications in the media on renewable energy issues.
