Student art festival \"Elimnin Bakytyn Terbetken Tauelsizdik\"

The student art festival "Elimnin Bakytyn Terbetken Tauelsizdik" was held in the assembly hall of building "D" of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev on November 17, 2022. It was organized by the lecturers of the Department for Language Studies.

    Director of the Department of Youth Policy Abdullina Zarema Alfredovna delivered a welcoming speech, opening the art festival. She noted the importance of spiritual, aesthetic and moral education of students through the study of works of art and wished success to the participants of the festival.

    48 students previously sent applications and a video of their performance to the art festival. After the qualifying round, 41 students received the right to participate in the festival. The students, performing kyui on dombra and prima-kobyz, demonstrated their musical abilities on the stage of the university. Kazakh folk songs on a patriotic theme were offered to the attention of the audience. Poems about the Motherland of M. Makataev, M. Shakhanov, A. Serikov and other Kazakh poets and their own compositions were skillfully recited. The audience perceived with genuine interest the performances of students dancing national dances. An exhibition of paintings by art students was presented in the foyer of the building.

    Video performances of the students of the Ajiniyaz Pedagogical Institute (Nukus, Republic of Karakalpakstan) were included in the festival program. Kazakh boys and girls living in another country won the hearts of the audience with their talented performance of songs, dances, and poems. Students of the Almaty Technical and Economic College of Communications performed a dance.

    The competition commission, headed by Associate Professor Zhekeyeva Kenzhe Omarovna, summed up the results of the art festival:

I place - student of group ISSk-22-4 Asan Agazhan,

II place - student of group AC-22-8 Suleimen Gaziz,

III place - student of group EE-22-7 Ekpin Bekzhan. 

The nomination winners were chosen:

"The best performer on a musical instrument" - a student of the group ISSk-22-4 Kaziev Yerbol, "The best reader" - a student of the group IS-22-6 Alepova Yasmina, "The best singer" - a student of the group EEk-22-2 Bagdaulet Kandybekov, "The best dancer" - a student of the group ISSk-22-3 Ainur Dzhusupova, "The best artist" - a student of the group EE-22-2 Adilbekova Saniya. The winners of the art festival were awarded diplomas, commendations and gift cards from the Sulpak store. The most active participants of the event were encouraged with letters of thanks.

The Head of the Department for Language Studies, Associate Professor Tuleup Meyrimkul Mukhamedyarovna made a closing speech. She warmly thanked all the participants and guests of the festival.

The purpose of this event was not only to identify and encourage talented students, but also to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism and humanity.
