AUES signed a Memorandum with JSC \"Center for Development of Payment and Financial Technologies of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan\" and CF \"International Technopark of IT Startups \"Astana Hub\"
A landmark event for Kazakhstan was held on December 19. A memorandum of academic cooperation among the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, the Center for the Development of Payment and Financial Technologies of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and company “Binance Kazakhstan” was signed publicly.
As part of the joint initiative of the Memorandum participants, Kazakhstan is launching the world's largest educational initiative. More than 40 thousand specialists in blockchain technologies will be trained.
Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev was among the 22 selected universities for the implementation of the pilot project.
As part of this project, AUPET signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Joint Stock Company "Center for the Development of Payment and Financial Technologies of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and the Corporate Fund "International Technopark of IT Startups "Astana Hub". The purpose of the memorandum is to implement educational programs aimed at training blockchain engineers and compliance specialists.
In addition, the Memorandum is aimed at developing digital IT platforms in order to develop the blockchain technology industry in the country.
The pilot project will start in February next year. In September 2023, elective courses in blockchain engineering and compliance will already be available to students.
This educational initiative will allow AUPET students to learn blockchain technologies from the company “Binance”, the world leader in this field. This will undoubtedly increase the competitiveness of our AUPET graduates.
