\"Mathematical Olympus - 2023\" Higher mathematics competition among first-year students

As a tradition, in the spring, the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling holds an annual higher mathematics competition among first-year students at our university. The "Mathematical Olympus - 2023" took place on April 4, 2023, in the classrooms 218 and 222 of building “B” at AUPET. The seventy first-year students participated at the competition, and they had two hours to solve five tasks.

The jury consisted of prof. Baisalova M.Zh. (chairperson), assoc. prof. Massanova A.Zh., senior lecturer Toleuova B.Zh., after reviewing the written papers, decided to award:

1st place    - Pak Andrey, a student of the IS-22-5 group.

2nd place  - Nysanalyn Eldos, a student of the EEk-22-5 group.   Sabadakh Maria, a student of the IS-22-5 group.

3rd place  - Tarabykin Miroslav, a student of the IS-22-6 group. Berishbayev Alisher, a student of the EEk-22-5 group. Bagytzhanov Yernazar, a student of the AUk-22-3 group.

The winners of the "Mathematical Olympus - 2023" at AUPET will also receive cash prizes and certificates of merit.
