“Open Day” at the National Space Center in Astana

The Aerospace Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an "Open Day". It was held at the National Space Center in Astana on April 14, 2023. Its purpose was to increase the interest of young people and the public in the development of the space industry in Kazakhstan. It was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstani space and Cosmonautics Day.

The main objective of the event was to present to students of 1-2 courses of the country's universities the main activities of space industry enterprises.

The students of AUPET, Kazakhstan Agrotechnical Research University named after S. Seifullin and Eurasian National University named after L. Gumilyov took part in this event.

Our students said that the presentations of the enterprises showed them the possibilities of realizing themselves as specialists in the aerospace industry. During the event, students interacted with representatives of organizations, asked them their questions and made excursions to the laboratory and test bases of JSC "NC Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary" and LLP "Ghalam"

The presentations shown by the enterprises of the space industry clearly demonstrated to our students the potential for professional growth and self-realization. A tour of the laboratory and test bases of JSC "NC Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary" and LLP "Ghalam" made it possible to personally communicate with the employees of these enterprises and see the future of the aerospace industry live.
