Digital literacy and cyber hygiene

Public awareness of cybersecurity issues in 2022 was 77.4%, as a result of which it was necessary to take measures to eliminate these shortcomings. In this regard, in order to increase the level of digital literacy and cyber hygiene of teaching staff and students, on April 25, 2023, in order to increase the level of information security (cyber security) culture, an offline seminar was organized at AUPET with the participation of cyber security specialists.

At the event dedicated to increasing the level of digital literacy and cyber hygiene, organized by the Institute of Information Technology and the Department of Information Systems and Cyber ​​Security, speakers specializing in the field of cyber security spoke. One of the first to come up with his program was Nureken Eldos, who has an international certificate (Offensive Security Web Expert), who currently works at Tsarka. The report highlighted the issues of security and security of mobile applications, how to protect yourself and your data, as well as insecure data storage.

The second speakers were representatives of the AZIMUT SOLUTIONS company, HR Director Saniya Bazarbayeva, Information Security Engineer Vladimir Sannikov. Their report also highlighted issues related to their professional activities.
