Visit Mr. Thierry Plaisant, Vice-President of «Total Eren Central Asia»

On April  26, 2023, Mr. Thierry Plaisant, Vice-President of «Total Eren Central Asia»,.visited our university.   

Mr. Plaisant talked about the intergovernmental agreements between France and Kazakhstan on the development of the project for the construction of  a wind farm with a capacity of up to 1 GW by  Total Eren Central Asia. He also noted that changes in the structure of the energy sector in the direction of green generation revealed an acute shortage of qualified personnel in terms of installation, operation, repair of equipment for wind farms, solar power plants, and other specialists of alternative energy facilities.  In this regard, Total Eren CA, with the support  of the French Embassy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, intends to develop cooperation with technical universities of Kazakhstan to create Centers  of Excellence and support scientific projects and educational programs in the field of renewable energy sources.
