Almaty university of power engineering and telecommunications сelebrated the 40th anniversary of the first issue

A solemn event was held at Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev in honor of the 40th anniversary of the first issue of signalmen.

As from this year the university is amplifying it range of training in various occupations, aligning modern global trends in the field of digitalization, automation, telecommunications and sustainable development of «green» energy.

The meeting of graduates  is a long standing tradition at  Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev. However, on this occasion the event has become particularly significant. Exactly 40 years ago, our university released its first batch of signalmen, and therefore, special attention is being given to the first alumni at this years reunion. In fact, they played a crucial role in the establishment and development of this industry in Kazakhstan.

During the reunion the university management introduced a new direction in the university’s initiatives. This new brand is known as Energo University signifying the institution’s commitment to contemporary international trends, such as digitalization and «green» energy.

Our graduates work in  all country's spheres of economy including telecommunications industries. The Kcell company with 5G trademark supported the University in celebrating the anniversary to the first issue of signalmen.
