37 teachers were awarded the title of «Professor Emeritus»

It is symbolic that on September 28, on the professional holiday of nuclear industry workers, the presentation of honorary badges and certificates for services to the university, which today we know it under a new name - Energo University, was held. And it all started almost 5 decades ago with the creation of the Almaty Energy Institute (AEI). Since 1997, it has become the first non—governmental technical university in the country with the status of a non-profit organization, familiar to all AUPET - Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications.

Opening the presentation ceremony, Rector Murat Syzdykov noted: «We value, respect, and cherish our teaching staff. We remember the contribution that was made to the development of the university. Thank you for your dedication and bright start, support of Gumarbek Zhusupbekovich. In turn, we will try to continue your work with dignity».

37 teachers were awarded the title of «Professor Emeritus». The winners of the awards received them from the hands of the Rector of Energo University Murat Syzdykov and Advisor to the Rector on strategic issues Serikbek Daukey.
