A new laboratory at Energo University will allow to improve the qualifications of industry specialists.

This will be possible thanks to an agreement between the university and the company «Tavrida Electric». Its signing took place at the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM 2023 in Astana.

Thanks to the cooperation, a new modern modeling laboratory will be opened in November this year. On its basis, the device and operation of various types of renewable energy sources will be studied and used for scientific research.

The signing of the document was attended by Ermek Kamalbekovich Kadylbekov, Vice—Rector of Energo University and Vladislav Vаlerievich Vorotnitsky, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales of «Tavrida Electric» Group of Companies» JSC, head of the «Reliable and flexible grids» subgroup of the working group of the National Technological Initiative «EnergyNet», head of the first project of NTI «EnergyNet» - «Digital AEN».

— Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications has always been an advanced research university in Central Asia in the field of energy, telecommunications, information, and aerospace technologies. New times require modern solutions and approach. We started from this in rebranding, entering the new academic year as Energo University, and in cooperation with «Tavrida Electric». As you know, the company offers innovative products and solutions for the electric power industry, «Smart Grid» technologies, which contribute to improving the reliability of power supply to consumers, — said Yermek Kadylbekov.
