Energo University’s students and PhD students will be offered internships at the Chinese Satellite Systems Corporation

Energy University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications) and Mino Space in China, Beijing signed a memorandum of cooperation.

This agreement will allow undergraduates and doctoral students of Energo University to undergo internships and conduct experiments at the leading Chinese company Mino Space, specializing in the development of small spacecraft, communications satellites and Earth remote sensing satellites.

Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties agreed on the following areas of cooperation:

joint research and development;

organization of joint events and seminars;

internship and conducting experiments on the basis of the Mini Space company.

— This will allow students and doctoral students of our university to gain unique experience in the field of space industry, - said Kuanysh Alipbayev, Director of the Institute of Telecommunications and Space Engineering of Energo University.

Cooperation with Mino Space is an important step for Energo University in developing ties with leading foreign companies in the field of space industry. It will allow students and doctoral students to gain advanced knowledge and skills in this field as well as increase their competitiveness in the labor market.
