For a number of years, the University has been fruitfully cooperating with «Honeywell-ASU», which represents Honeywell's interests in Kazakhstan. The Honeywell Educational and Research Center for the Design and Research of Control Systems has been established on the basis of the Department of Automation and Control. The company's specialists participate in the discussion and adjustment of curricula, are invited to the certification commissions for the protection of diploma projects, share practical experience with the teaching staff of the department, etc.
Students of the educational programs "Automation and Management" of the bachelor's and master's degrees have the opportunity to undergo industrial, pre-graduate and research internships at «Honeywell-ASU», during which advanced training courses are provided.
All these areas of cooperation will be continued. Moreover, it is planned to expand it in such areas as information technology (jointly with the Department of IT Engineering) and information Security (jointly with the Department of Cybersecurity).
