ENERGO UNIVERSITY HOSTS STUDENT MEETING WITH CYBERSECURITY EXPERTS

Tradition of meetings of practitioners with the current generation of students continues the Energo University Institute of Automation and Information Technology.

Dialogue between students of the educational program «Systems information security» and experts-practitioners took place in the framework of the round table which is called «Navigation in the world of cybersecurity: The secrets of cultivation professionals». The meeting was organized by the Department of Cybersecurity, which is part of the Institute of Automation and Information Technology.

With their experience and advice with future cybersecurity professionals shared the head of the information security department of Freedom Pay Maxim Sveshnikov, HR business partner of Freedom Pay Alexandra Sorokovikova, expert of the Center for Analysis and Investigation of Cyberattacks (CARCA) Eldos Nureken and system architect of the company OpenBLD.net Evgeny Goncharov. From Energo University took part in the round table: the Department of Alumni Work, Postgraduate education and the Department of IT-engineering (included in the structure Institute of Automation and Information Technology).

The selection of visiting practitioners was not accidental. For example, The activities of the Cyber Attack Analysis and Investigation Centre cover such areas as investigation of information security incidents, penetration testing (pentest), audit of information systems, implementation of information security management system and others.

After the end of the round table for invited experts, a tour of the educational laboratories of the Institute of Automation and Information Technology, created together with companies National Instruments, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Huawei Siemens, Apple, Honeywell, Cisco, Kaspersky, Tornado, Edu Automation were organized.
