Energo University and Rosatom have signed a memorandum of cooperation

On December 20th, a meeting took place in Almaty between the management of Energo University (Almaty University of Energy and Communications named after G. Daukeev) and JET Engineering and Technical Center (a part of the Electric Power Division of Rosatom State Corporation). The parties discussed the possibilities of implementing the REPEAT mathematical modeling technology into educational processes and signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document was signed by Murat Syzdykov, the rector of Energo University, and Alexey Kovalevich, the managing director of JET Engineering and Technical Center.

The document provides opportunities for establishing a Modeling School within the university to prepare qualified specialists with advanced digital competencies. "The Modeling School allows us to start preparing professionals from their student years. We hope that the soon-to-be-opened Modeling School of the JET Engineering and Technical Center at Energo University will become an important stepping stone for the professional growth of students and acquiring skills that align with the modern world of digitalization," noted Alexey Kovalevich.

Specialists from JET Engineering and Technical Center organized an introductory seminar on the application of the REPEAT platform for modeling systems and technological objects. The seminar was conducted in online and offline formats for the faculty of Energo University and other leading technical universities in Kazakhstan. The purpose of the seminar was not only to initiate the partnership between Rosatom and Energo University but also to popularize the field of mathematical modeling among senior students of the university.
