Energo University student wins the international educational competition Huawei ICT Competition
The Kazakh team, which included a student of the 4th year of the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies of Energo University Nikolay Gilyakov, won the prestigious international competition «Huawei ICT Competition». The competition was held from 19 to 21 December in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The competition was attended by 20 national teams from 11 countries of the Middle East and Central Asia. Kazakhstan was represented by two teams - «Computing Track» and «Cloud Track». Both achieved the best results.
The team, which included Zhilyakov Nikolay, student of Energo University, Utebai Oralbay, student of Yessenov University and Sarsenbay Danial, student of KBTU, won the grand prize in the direction of «Computing Track». Now the winners will present Kazakhstan at the global final in China in May 2024.

ICT Competition is one of the important elements of the program Huawei ICT Academy, which is aimed at the development of talents and training of specialists in the field of information and communication technologies. The competition is held for several years in a row around the world and is a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and ideas between students and professionals from all over the world.
Huawei ICT Academy has been opened at Energo University since 2019 to train talented students. The training is conducted by certified teachers - Tatiana Golubeva and Viktor Taylakov. Both teachers received recognition from Huawei as the best instructors in Kazakhstan.
