UNIX Energo University Club receives «Golden Microphone» Award for contribution to student initiatives

     On December 25 at the University of Turan, the student club TESO organized annual event dedicated to the result of the year. It became aware of one of the most significant events in the student life of Almaty. UNIX Energo University Club was awarded the «Golden Microphone» award for outstanding contribution in support of student initiatives and participation in city youth projects.
    -This high award was a kind of recognition of the merit and activity of the members of the UNIX club, - said the Director of the Department of Youth Policy of Energo University Elikbai Kabi. 

   -The club has successfully organized various events throughout the year, promoting creativity and the spirit of collective cooperation. Special attention was paid to supporting student initiatives, which played an important role in the formation of the creative potential of the student community. The UNIX club actively supported startups and projects initiated by students, contributing to their successful develop    ment and implementation.
     The «Golden Microphone» award also highlighted the club’s contribution to city youth projects, forming a positive image of Energo University. UNIX not only provided a platform for students' creative self-expression, but also actively interacted with urban organizations, contributing to the development of the youth community as a whole.
-  We express our gratitude to the management of our university for the comprehensive support of the activities of the club, - said activists of UNIX. -  In the new year we plan to continue working in the same spirit, make student life interesting, diverse, create and support student creative ideas and projects.

    UNIX music club was created in 2018, its name comes from the word «unique» - which means «individual». Today, the club has 34 members, including vocalists with different timbre and musicians who play kobyz, dombra, guitar, ukulele, keyboards, bass guitar and drums. The coordinator of UNIX is the 3rd year student Azamat Boranbai.

   The main task of UNIX is to develop the musical, vocal and instrumental potential of Energo University’s students. Members of the club organize about 7-8 concerts per year for the audience of the native university, as well as participate in various city and republican competitions and projects.
