Energo University students can get a bachelor’s degree in three years

While everyone is resting and enjoying the holidays, students enrolled in 2023 at Energo University (Alamtin University of Energy and Communications) for educational programs «6B06101 Computer science», «6B06105 Program Engineering»,  «6B06103 Computer and Software» and «6B06102 Information Systems» have already started the second trimester of training. 

- For the first time this academic year we decided to introduce training on trimester system for students in the areas of training «Information and communication technologies», - said Vice-Rector on academic issues Aigul Sarenova. - Trimester system of education is applied in many countries of the world. Its main advantages are more convenient organization of the educational process for the student by reducing the uninterrupted periods of study and abandoning the long vacation period.

It is assumed that with trimester approach, students will be able to better absorb the material due to a more even distribution of the teaching load and alternation of pre- and post-requisites disciplines. At the same time, the term of study will be reduced by a year - students will be able to obtain a bachelor’s degree not after four, but for three years of successful training.
